Alyssa Ayres has written a book called Our Time Has Come: How India is Making Its Place in the World. She was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia between 2010 and 2013. She is currently a senior fellow for India, Pakistan and South Asia at the Council of Foreign Relations.
